Eligibility
Open to students worldwide in grades 7-12. No age restrictions within grade levels.
- Junior Category: Grades 7-8
- Intermediate Category: Grades 9-10
- Advanced Category: Grades 11-12
- Homeschooled students welcome - select equivalent grade level
- Students may compete in multiple categories
Registration
Free registration for the inaugural 2026 season.
- Register online through the official competition portal
- Registration opens March 1, 2026
- Early registration recommended for preparation materials
- No limit on participants per school/country
- Individual registration only (no team registration)
Language
All competition materials will be in English.
- Questions and instructions in standard English
- No translation services available during competition
- Dictionary allowed for non-native English speakers (printed only)
- No electronic translators permitted
Time Commitment
Flexible scheduling across three progressive rounds.
- Round 1: 60 minutes (self-scheduled within 2-week window)
- Round 2: 90 minutes (self-scheduled within 2-week window)
- Round 3: 120 minutes (scheduled live via Zoom)
- Total competition time: 4.5 hours across all rounds
